Job summary

Truist is hiring a Retail Customer Associate in the United States. The role focuses on delivering superior client service, handling transactions with accuracy, and supporting sales and relationship management activities.

You'll educate clients on digital banking options, participate in outreach, and collaborate with branch teams to meet client needs while adhering to policies and controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to make banking easier and enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales process by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs or opportunities by referrals.
• Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Commit to advancing product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients through training and learning.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling volume based on branch demands.
