Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused retail associate in the United States who can build lasting client relationships through in-person and phone-based service. You will develop financial solutions from consultative conversations and referrals to other specialists while occasionally handling teller duties.

The role emphasizes meeting service and sales targets, cross-training across responsibilities, and adhering to risk controls and internal policies to ensure a compliant and rewarding client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• SAFE compliance within 30 days and regulatory checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Occasional travel and flexibility for temporary staffing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client service and sales activities for deposits, credit, and other products.
• Help meet branch service and sales targets through relationship development.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists after consultative conversations.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and team processes.
• Enhance sales and product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Deliver a consistent client experience while assisting with teller duties when needed.
