The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and a welcoming attitude as you support daily branch operations. You will build lasting relationships with customers, participate in bank promotions, and collaborate with teammates to improve service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred.
• Successfully completes required compliance and First Mid training curriculum to be proficient in the basic account opening process.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Proficiently service customers by accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines.
• Maintain a cash drawer by performing daily balancing procedures and assist with daily operational branch duties.
• Open accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, safe deposit box, basic business related, etc.
