Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a customer-focused professional to support tellers and banking platforms in a retail banking setting. The role involves processing daily financial transactions, opening accounts, and recommending bank products to deepen client relationships.

The position emphasizes outbound outreach, cross-selling, and delivering outstanding client experiences while adhering to compliance standards and bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of experience as a Teller preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide both teller and platform support to keep client wait times to a minimum and to provide quality customer service.
• Open checking and savings accounts including deposits and provide deposit product services.
• Cross-sell and make referrals to bank partners to generate new business and deepen existing client relationships.
• Conduct regular outbound calls to clients and prospects during campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications and hand off processing to the appropriate associate.
• Research and resolve problems and respond to client inquiries on account status.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve client issues.
• Attend training and product knowledge meetings to enhance knowledge for better service.
