Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a customer-focused teller/associate to provide both teller and platform support, opening various deposit accounts, and cross-selling financial products. You will engage with clients to understand needs, process transactions, and guide them through loan applications while maintaining compliance and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of experience as a Teller preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required and may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller and platform support to minimize client wait times and ensure quality customer service.
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Open and process new deposit accounts including savings accounts, IRAs, CDs, and money market accounts.
• Cross-sell to bank partners to generate new business and deepen client relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, including during campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications and hand off processing to the appropriate associate.
• Research and resolve problems and respond to client inquiries on account status.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve client issues.
• Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and training.
