Job summary

Truist Bank in Norfolk, Virginia seeks a Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and maintain thorough records while delivering a high-quality service experience. You will educate clients on digital banking tools, participate in outbound calls, and support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities to meet client needs.

A high school diploma is required along with two years of teller or client service experience; weekend and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller/cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Weekend and extended hours with potential travel/overnights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales process via outbound client outreach and identifying opportunities.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and internal controls.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution with appropriate referrals.
