Job summary

Truist is hiring a Part Time Universal Banker in Portsmouth, VA to provide timely, accurate client transactions and deliver superior service. You will educate clients on online and mobile banking, assist with outbound calls, and support Integrated Relationship Management to meet client needs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years teller or client service experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to work weekends with potential travel. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel for temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Willing to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and accurate transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs for referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
