Job summary

The Merrimack is seeking a Customer Service Banker at our Hooksett, NH branch to help customers with everyday banking needs and build lasting relationships. You will promote banking products, handle deposits and account maintenance, and support a collaborative team dedicated to excellent service.

Starting pay begins at $21.63 per hour and is negotiable based on experience. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, parental leave, tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to travel between branch locations as needed.
• Prior bank teller transaction knowledge a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customer.
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs arise.
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits.
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs based inquiry.
• Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently.
