Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Successful completion of required compliance and First Mid training curriculum for basic account opening.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers and welcome them to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Service customers by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and other transactions with accuracy and policy compliance.
• Obtain manager approval for transactions outside authorized limits.
• Adhere to bank compliance, security, and operational policies.
• Balance cash drawer daily and assist branch operations.
• Open and modify accounts as requested by customers.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance the customer experience and report ideas to management.
• Develop relationships with business partners and customers.
