Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer service oriented professional in the United States to handle client transactions, advise on digital solutions, and support sales activities. The role emphasizes accurate records, compliance, and strong client interaction at a 1st-shift level.

The position trains across sales and service functions, with focus on IRM and evolving banking solutions, offering a path to broaden product knowledge and branch leadership routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, handling transactions, and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and referrals to branch team members.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Attend training classes and meetings to advance product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
