Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies in a secure warehouse environment.

You will learn to operate unit-level computers, maintain automated systems, and manage documentation.

Qualifications

• Enlistee in the Army National Guard or eligible to enlist.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle paperwork.
• Willingness to perform physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
