Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure the unit is well supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee receiving, inspecting, storing, and delivering supplies, while maintaining organized documents and automated systems.

You will also manage weapon and ammunition security, schedule maintenance, and operate unit-level computers. This role prepares you for civilian stock control or storekeeping careers.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or in HS junior and meet enlistment eligibility.
• Interest in math, bookkeeping, accounting, or typing is beneficial.
• Ability to keep accurate records and handle physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms and secure weapons/ammunition.
• Schedule and perform maintenance on weapons.
• Oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment.
