Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies, while ensuring documents are organized and systems are maintained.

You will learn procedures for handling medical and food supplies, maintain accurate records, and gain experience that supports civilian career

Qualifications

• Enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a HS diploma/GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammo.
• Schedule and perform preventive/organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit-level computers.
