Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your Unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied for any mission. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies.

You will secure weapons and ammunition and schedule maintenance for weapons. Through your training you will gain skills to pursue civilian roles as stock clerk, parts clerk, or storekeeper, with paid training and tuition

Qualifications

• Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ages 17–35 and physically able to pass a medical exam.
• Willingness to learn and follow security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms and secure weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
