Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure units are well supplied and equipped for missions. You will manage shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, and handle documentation, automated systems, and weapon security.

Responsibilities include issuing/receiving small arms, maintaining weapons, and operating unit computers. Training leads to civilian stock control clerk roles with valuable benefits.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and/or typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Enjoy physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
