DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure our unit is well supplied and equipped for all missions. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and distribution of equipment, maintain records, and operate unit computers in a secure environment.

Training includes 10 weeks Basic Training and 8 weeks Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and benefits such as tuition assistance and retirement benefits for part-time service.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, or typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Enjoy physical work and warehouse tasks.
• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
