DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure equipment is secure, organized, and available for missions. You will oversee receipt, storage, invoicing, and delivery of supplies, including weapons, while maintaining automated systems and records.

You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, earning tuition assistance and a steady paycheck, with potential civilian career pathways in stock control and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and/or typing.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Enjoy physical work.
• Interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
