Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure soldiers are well supplied and equipped for every mission. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, inspect documents, and operate unit-level computers to keep logistics running smoothly.

This role emphasizes accurate records, basic math, and hands-on warehouse work. Training includes 10 weeks Basic Training plus eight weeks Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to keep accurate records and perform basic arithmetic.
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, or typing.
• Willing to perform physical warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
