Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit is well supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, and ensure documents are organized and systems are kept up to date.

Responsibilities include handling small arms, maintaining weapons, and using unit computers. Training opportunities and a path to civilian careers in stock control and warehousing are available.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to enlist in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Able to pass a physical exam.
• Citizenship requirements as per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
