Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure the unit and fellow Soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies while securing weapons.

You will maintain documents, operate automated systems, and support weapon maintenance. Training includes Basic Training and AIT, with opportunities that translate to civilian stock clerking roles.

Qualifications

• Must be military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details).

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons
• Operate unit level computers
