Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure units are supplied and equipped for missions. You will manage shipping, storage and distribution of equipment, and handle documentation and automated systems.

Responsibilities include issuing firearms, maintaining weapons, and supporting maintenance scheduling. A path to civilian careers in stock/warehouse roles is outlined through the Guard’s training programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
• Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting and/or typing.
• Able to keep accurate records and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, storage and supply of Army National Guard equipment.
• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform maintenance on weapons.
