Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) for our Skilled Unit. The role requires leadership in a nursing unit, ensuring safe, high-quality care and cost-effective delivery.

The team collaborates with the Nursing Director to maintain coverage and meet patient goals. You will mentor staff, oversee medication management, and participate with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes and reduce rehospitalizations.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN/LPN licensure in state.
• At least one year of nurse leadership experience.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing, implementing and evaluating ways to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, and serve as a resource to all staff within the nursing unit regarding the quality of services provided.
• Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy.
• Provide direct patient care along with the other unit nurses to maintain skills.
