The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in good standing in New Hampshire and prior management or leadership experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nurses and other departments.

Unit Manager – Full Time, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a RN Unit Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, 40-hour position on 1st shift, with a supportive schedule that includes:

• Nursing on-call rotation
• MOD (Manager on Duty) – Weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day coordination and 24-hour oversight of the unit.
• Monitor resident care by licensed nurses and LNAs.
• Ensure resident care and documentation are in compliance with HIPAA, State and Federal regulations for healthcare.
• Ensure physician orders are followed, monitor medication & treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate.
• Collaborate with other departments; assist ADON; work most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses.
• Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide overall supervision of Licensed Nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• RN with management experience.
• Must possess and maintain a current Nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board.
