Job summary

Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH, part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for a full-time 40-hour role on the 1st shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). The position includes nursing on-call rotation and weekend MOD coverage to support residents and families.

• Collaborate with departments and assist ADON under the Director of Nurses.
• Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Provide supervision of licensed nurses and care on the unit.

Unit Manager – Full Time, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Day-to-day coordinator and 24-hour over-sight of the unit.
• Monitor resident care by licensed nurses & LNA’s.
• Ensure resident care and documentation is in compliance with HIPPA, State and Federal regulations for healthcare.
• Ensure physician orders are being followed, monitor medication & treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate.
• Work collaborative with other departments, assists ADON, working most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses.
• Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance
• Provide overall supervision of Licensed Nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Long-term care experience preferred
• RN with management experience.
• Must possess and maintain a current Nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board.
