Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking an RN Unit Manager for Day Shift at our West Hartford facility. You will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit, ensuring quality care and a positive work environment for residents and their families.

The role requires a valid RN license in CT, leadership experience in long-term care, and strong communication skills. You will develop care plans, supervise operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to

RN Unit Manager Day Shift

What You'll Do

As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the nursing staff within a dedicated unit. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

What You'll Bring
Qualifications of a Unit Manager include:
  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
