Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, you will support the Director of Nursing within an assigned unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, positive clinical outcomes, and satisfaction of patients, residents, families, and staff.

1. Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and care delivery of the nursing unit.
2. Ensure that care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
3. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Manage human resources in the unit, including staffing, recruitment, orientation, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
