The role requires attentiveness, accuracy, and the ability to use the hospital information system for recording orders, charting, and admissions.

Formación

• Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
• Answers the telephone promptly and courteously.
• Schedules and coordinates diagnostic procedures and follow-up appointments.
• Uses Hospital Information System for orders and charting.

Responsabilidades

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values
• Adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality
• Responds to call lights and promptly relays information to the appropriate nursing personnel
• Maintains accurate and complete records by posting all forms and reports in correct order
• Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team in person and via telephone
