Metropolitan Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Unit Clerk for the day shift in Dearborn, MI. This in-person role provides unit clerical support, welcomes patients as receptionist, and helps prepare charts for admission and discharge paperwork.

You will coordinate with the Clinical Nurse Manager, manage patient records, and keep daily operations running smoothly. A high school diploma or GED and hospital clerical experience are preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a hospital clerical role.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to file alphabetically and numerically.
• Effective communication in person, on the telephone and writing.

Responsabilidades

• The unit clerk handles clerical functions on the unit and acts as receptionist.
• Prepare charts for admission and assist with discharge paperwork distribution.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination under the Clinical Nurse Manager.
