Job summary

STHS McAllen is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver safe, patient-centered care under RN guidance. You will work within the Nursing Team on your unit, following facility policies and supporting a Service Excellence culture for all patients and families.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, and ongoing readiness for pre-employment assessments plus required certifications. High school or equivalent education preferred and 18+ at hire.

Qualifications

• Must pass any pre-employment assessment required by the facility.
• BLS certification on hire and kept current.
• Must be over 18 years of age by hire date.
• CNA, PCT or MA certificate or enrollment in nursing program may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with Nursing Team and follow facility policies.
• Support a Service Excellence culture for all customers.
• Participate actively on the assigned unit/department.
