Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to manage daily crew work, enforce safety, and coordinate with management and property owners. This full-time, hourly role emphasizes training, records, and customer relations while guiding crews in tree-trimming operations in Idaho.

The Foreperson will oversee tasks, ensure OSHA compliance, and be responsible for performance reporting and cost control, with opportunities for growth within the company’s tree-care services.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines; conducts safety training.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work and coordinates access.
• Maintains positive customer relations through effective completion of work by the crew.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance and costs.
• Carries out Trimmer/Climber tasks as required.
