Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is hiring a Payroll Administrator in Mishawaka, IN on-site. You will oversee weekly and bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union staff across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with CBAs and payroll regulations.

The role requires at least 5 years of payroll experience with union payroll processing, strong knowledge of CBAs, and proficiency in UKG, ADP, or Paylocity. Excellent detail, deadlines, and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with union payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of CBAs and union reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of payroll tax laws, deductions, garnishments, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as UKG, ADP, Paylocity, or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• CPP, FPC, CPS, or other payroll certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple entities.
• Administer payroll per CBAs including wage rates, classifications, and negotiated benefits.
• Prepare and submit union-related reports, fringe benefit contributions, pension reporting.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefits.
• Review and audit timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll filings including tax reporting and W-2 processing.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure accurate payroll data.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
• Generate payroll reports and support audits, compliance reviews, and management reporting.
