Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to support daily plant production in Ohio. You will operate equipment, assist foreperson, perform maintenance, and help ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, willingness to travel when required, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed. This role offers competitive pay and benefit programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Access plant areas for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Perform welding and fabrication as required.
• Clean up around the plant and surrounding area.
• Lubricate and perform general equipment maintenance.
• Identify safety hazards and respond appropriately.
• Follow directions from foreperson.
