Capital Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Trainer to develop, implement and deliver training for Commercial and Agriculture underwriting staff. You will collaborate with managers and subject matter experts to keep training materials current and effective, and drive program improvements.

The role requires hands-on training across all underwriting levels, with independence under the Director – Underwriter Development & Audit.

Formación

• Degree in education and at least one year experience in insurance or finance underwriting or minimum 5 years background in training, or underwriting lead/management role in the insurance industry.
• Provide a motivational learning environment and experience to newly hired staff.
• Ability to facilitate instructor-led training - both live in a classroom and virtual environment.
• Proficient analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, visual, oral, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to create and manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently.
• Ability to articulate performance outcomes objectively for both trainees and managers as well as offer suggestions for improvement.
• Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, subject matter experts, and all levels of management across the organization.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, facilitate and monitor training activities and programs.
• Record training effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with Regional Underwriting Managers and SMEs to keep material up to date.
• Lead new training projects across the organization and provide hands-on instruction across underwriting levels.
