Qualifications

• Knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting, including products and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; typically 3+ years of related work.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite risk for submissions through policy issuance for renewal and new business within limited authority.
• Handle endorsements within delegated authority; consult underwriter for actions outside authority.
• Manage renewal book within authority; triage, outline changes, and advise accounts outside authority.
• Coordinate with branch and CNA teams to resolve issues (billing, risk control, underwriting guidance).
• Document files for completeness, compliance, and quality (proposals, endorsements, cancellations).
• Contribute to pricing strategy and document pricing rationale.
• Serve as first-line contact to producers/customers on account matters; identify upsell opportunities.
• Assist in marketing CNA products/services through external partners and field visits.
• Be a subject matter expert on systems/workflows; train and problem-solve for others.
• Stay current on line of business strategy, state/territory issues, regulations and trends.
