SIMCO, LLC is seeking an Underground Work Control Manager for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) in Carlsbad, NM. The role covers direct supervision of underground maintenance planners and the Work Control Center, reporting to the Work Control Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple teams, ensuring alignment with site priorities, and maintaining training and qualifications. The role requires a DOE badge and US work authorization; relocation benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience or
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of related experience or
• High School Diploma or Equivalency with 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision for UG maintenance work planners and Work Control Center coordinators.
• Distribute work assignments to planners and balance workload.
• Support backlog reduction; provide status updates to Work Control Manager.
