Job summary

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is seeking a Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Coordinator to join the team supporting the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). The role collaborates with surface and underground operations to develop isolation plans and completes LO/TO review sheets for work control documents.

The position requires DOE badge eligibility, security clearance processes, and related experience. Excellent benefits and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree with six years of related experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency with ten years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop isolation components and positions to support planning documents.
• Aid in administrative completion of LO/TO review sheets for work control documents.
• Support surface and underground operations with panel audits, redlines, and circuit verification.
• Collaborate with Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Department on fire watch and system issues.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience

Associate’s degree with 6 years related experience

High School Diploma or Equivalency with 10 years related experience
