USIC is hiring locator field technicians to locate and mark underground utilities across diverse sites. You will receive comprehensive training from day one and work with a company-provided vehicle and tools, ensuring accuracy and safety on every job.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, with opportunities for overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities and mark locations in a designated area.
• Complete documentation and photograph each locate.
• Operate company-provided vehicle and equipment as needed.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
