USIC locates underground utilities across various sites, requiring individuals who value safety and accuracy. You will work independently, operating a company vehicle, and perform mark-outs with documentation and photography for each locate.

The role entails daytime, full-time scheduling with potential overtime, on-call shifts, and weekend work depending on business needs, with comprehensive training and clear career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and maps.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-critical role).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Comfort with confined spaces; ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read locate tickets, maps and prints and follow directions.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely in designated areas.
• Mark the location on-site and complete required documentation and photography of each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time shifts with potential overtime and on-call responsibilities as needed.
