Job summary

USIC is hiring outdoor locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas using company vehicles and field technology. No prior locating experience is required, but experienced locators are encouraged to apply; daytime, full-time positions with help from our training program and a strong promotion path.

You will locate utilities, accurately mark locations, document and photograph each locate, and may work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to pass a drug screen and maintain a safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Strong communication with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and mark locations.
• Thoroughly document and photograph each locate for accuracy.
