Job summary

USIC is seeking a locator to identify and mark underground utilities in designated areas. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, perform accurate locate documentation, and communicate findings to excavators and property owners.

Role requires ability to work outdoors in various weather, pass a drug screen, have a valid driver's license, and be ready for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
