Job summary

USIC is seeking energetic field technicians to locate underground utilities in designated areas and provide accurate mark-out services. You will use company-provided vehicles and tools to perform daytime, full-time locates, supporting utilities and municipalities across the region.

The role requires problem-solving, attention to safety, and the ability to work overtime and on-call shifts. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and benefits, including insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities and mark locations.
• Complete necessary documentation and photograph each locate.
