Cable Services Company Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator to operate hydraulic excavators, skid loaders, and dozers for underground utility construction in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role involves loading/unloading, site inspections, and precise conduit placement while following company and industry standards.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints, plans, and specifications
• Knowledge of utility depths and placements
• Possess general knowledge of construction practices
• Ability to work in various environments/settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Ability to work in trenches, excavations, and manholes
• Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to move materials/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work 5-7 days a week, 10+ hours a day when necessary
• Willing to work outside in varying weather conditions

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload equipment in a manner that is secure and damage-free
• Transport associated tools, materials, and/or equipment safely
• Complete a daily inspection of equipment prior to commencing work
• Operate the equipment to assist in placing underground utilities
• Operate equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
• Identify utilities in the construction area and verify them according to blueprints
• Connect/stub-up conduit and wire, as required
• Dig pits, trenches, or potholes as required, including windows when crossing utilities
• Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
• Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment
• Adhere to all established company safety policies and perform work in a safe manner
• Perform other duties as assigned to help the team complete a project
