Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator – Hydraulic Excavators, Skid Loader, Dozer for projects across the Northeast, including Williamsport area.

This is a travel-forward role requiring extended time away from home with occasional overnight stays. The operator will handle underground utility construction tasks, perform equipment inspections, follow blueprints, and ensure safety while supporting multiple crews on varied sites.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel out of town with occasional overnight stays.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background screen.
• Complete and pass a DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment ensuring security and no damage.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Perform daily equipment inspections prior to work.
• Operate equipment to place underground utilities with crew.
• Locate and verify existing utilities per blueprints.
• Bore path identification and conduit/wire connections as required.
• Dig pits, trenches, or potholes including windows for utilities.
• Restore disturbed areas at job sites.
• Complete timesheets, vehicle logs, and expense reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and work safely.
• Perform additional duties to assist project completion.
