Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled operator for hydraulic excavation equipment for underground utility projects in Mount Joy, PA. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, operating machinery for utility placement, and ensuring safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience with directional bore drills and hold a Class A CDL. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional bore drill.
• Previous rock boring experience is preferred.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks for the operation of hydraulic excavation equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment safely.
• Operate equipment to assist in placing underground utilities.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment before work begins.
• Document all work assignments accurately.

Skills

Read and interpret engineering/construction prints

Knowledge of utility depths and placements

General knowledge of construction practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to lift materials/equipment up to 80 pounds

Education

Class A CDL

Experience operating directional bore drill

Experience with Hydraulic Excavators, Skid Loader, and Dozer
