Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a senior engineer to manage the execution of multiple underground transmission line projects. The role requires coordinating with internal and external departments to oversee the life cycle from planning to completion.

You will own project performance across technical, safety, schedule, and budget, mentor the team, provide technical reviews, and build strong client relationships. A BS from an ABET-accredited program and 10+ years in design leadership are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree from ABET-accredited program in engineering or business management.
• 10+ years leading a design team for underground transmission projects.
• Experience in cost estimation, scheduling, and client liaison.
• Knowledge of CYMCAP modeling and XLPE cable design.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of multiple underground transmission line projects from start to finish.
• Own performance: technical, safety, schedule, budget and client experience.
• Mentor and coach project teams; lead design reviews and reports.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments; manage risk and change.
• Prepare clear reports meeting client requirements.
