Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Training Supervisor for the Carlin Underground Division to lead and develop training programs ensuring safe, compliant mining operations. You will mentor trainees, manage training records, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and support teams to improve performance.

Qualifications

• MSHA Instructor Certification (blue card) preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in underground mining with leadership experience
• Experience working with peer groups and focus teams
• Ability to drive results and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong leadership and safety-focused mindset
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook preferred
• Proven safe work record

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and coach trainees
• Lead training plan execution to ensure safe mining operations
• Maintain training records and ensure MSHA compliance
• Develop and implement training programs for competency
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and support teams
• Audit training courses and materials for continuous improvement
• Plan and schedule Annual Refresher Training
• Facilitate site-specific training for new and experienced miners
• Ensure documentation and record control per site directives
• Support rollout of Competency Based Training system
• Participate in alignment of site initiatives
