Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Maintenance Trainer for the Carlin District to lead safety-focused training and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations. You will build and deliver competency-based programs, maintain records, and partner with operations to improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team-influence abilities.
• Experience promoting safety in training and leading by example.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations and training records management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for competency.
• Maintain site compliance and training records per MSHA requirements.
• Create and maintain training materials and outlines.
• Deliver and facilitate safety training for miners and other staff.
• Audit courses and implement continuous improvement.
• Plan and deliver annual refresher training and task-specific sessions.
• Support competency-based training system and record-keeping.
