Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Mobile Maintenance Planner II to enhance maintenance efficiency through planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques. The role sits within the Underground Maintenance team at Turquoise Ridge, supporting safety, reliability, and production targets.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification or related engineering degree, 3–7 years in maintenance planning in heavy industry, and experience with CMMS systems (SAP/Oracle/Pronto/JD Edwards).

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial discipline, or technical diploma/degree in engineering or maintenance management or equivalent experience
• 3–7 years experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in heavy industry; mining experience preferred
• Experience with underground/open pit mobile mining equipment or fixed plant
• Proven CMMS experience (SAP, Oracle, Pronto, JD Edwards, etc.)
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Primavera, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Review, screen, and prioritize maintenance work requests in line with production requirements, safety considerations
• Develop detailed job plans and work packs for preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance with scope, estimates, materials, and safety details
• Ensure planned work adheres to maintenance standards, OEM guidance, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors to minimize downtime
• Support budgeting and cost control for maintenance activities and resources
• Use CMMS (SAP/Oracle/Pronto) to track records, backlog and status of planned work
• Prepare work packages with conditions, constraints, and parts lists
• Communicate with maintenance, operations, purchasing and vendors
• Contribute to project activities and driving continuous improvement
• Participate in root cause analysis and apply findings to future plans
