Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Senior Mobile Maintenance Planner to drive detailed planning for mobile equipment and fixed plants at the Cortez/Goldrush operations. You will lead a team, align maintenance activities with safety and production goals, and optimize plans using CMMS and data-driven approaches.

The role emphasizes cost control, budget ownership, and continuous improvement, with a focus on reliability and efficiency in a high-hazard mining environment.

Qualifications

• Deep technical understanding of maintenance practices, failure modes, and asset reliability.
• Significant mining maintenance planning experience with leadership and supervision.
• Proven experience with CMMS (SAP, Oracle, Pronto, JD Edwards, etc.).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance plans for mobile equipment and assets.
• Review and prioritize maintenance demand to align with production and safety.
• Develop job plans, work packs, and labor estimates ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Lead maintenance budgets and forecast spend, providing recommendations to management.
• Monitor cost performance, variances, and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Provide supervision and coaching to planners and ensure timely deliverables.
