The role focuses on coordinating weekly maintenance plans for UG and Major Repair shop, while interfacing with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely parts, schedules, and communications.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance planning experience in underground mining preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle preferred.
• Valid safe work record required.
• Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduling of weekly maintenance plans for UG and Major Repair shop
• Ensure proper job packets and schedules are maintained and distributed
• Run and report on maintenance KPI’s
• Assist other planners in closing and scanning work orders
• Communicate well with operations and maintenance personnel
• Improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems
• Write purchase requisitions for unavailable material
• Track progress of ordered material and schedule work once parts arrive
• Assist the general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes in the preventative maintenance schedule necessitated by production/maintenance requirements
